Sales Director - Airport Systems Jobs

Sales Director - Airport Systems Duties

Overall responsibility for bookings and revenue generation of Airport Systems products and services within a given geographic region (South East Region). The Regional Sales Director will develop a rapport with key decision makers within these accounts and lead all ARINC efforts as it relates to the ASD division. Responsible for building relationships to expand existing business as well as uncover new opportunities. Develop new bookings and revenue within the current ASD customer base by maintaining a strong relationship and making customers aware of new products product enhancements and services being offered by ARINC. It is mandatory that the Regional Sales Director participate in monthly pipeline reviews weekly conference calls and any related opportunity reviews. The Regional Sales Director will keep current on all competitive activities as well as any new entrants to the marketplace. Must contribute to the proposal process and contract negotiations. Responsible for attending tradeshows and conferences as well as required public pre-bid meetings.
Qualifications:
Required Experience: Candidate needs to have 10 years direct sales experience. Needs to have sales experience in the airline market selling software hardware or communication services. Needs to have a proven sales record of success in the airline market of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

Desired Experience: Fluent Spanish speaking skills preferred.

Education or Certification Requirements: BA/BS degree. MBA desirable.
