Sales Development Rep-New York City NY Duties


Job Location: New York City NY



Air France a major international carrier is currently offering an exciting career opportunity in the New York City NY office.

We are currently seeking 4 Sales Development Representatives to join our dynamic team.

The Position:


The In-House Sales Development Representatives will:
Be responsible for revenue generation through telephone-based relationships maintained with travel agencies corporate accounts as well as the development of new accounts
Negotiate contracts and effectively close deals
Manage portfolios and handle all the support of the accounts
Manage the performance of contracts by use of the Air France Sales Tools
Answer day-to-day needs of the clients using Air France systems
Act as a liaison with other departments in the company
Be eligible for an incentive bonus program each year

Position reports to District Sales Manager – Los Angeles CA.


Contract position with annual period starting April 1 renewable subject to satisfactory performance and according to company requirements.

Requirements:
Bachelors or higher degree in Business or related discipline
Minimum 2 years of sales experience
Effective sales development ability
Proven sales negotiation and closing skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications
Strong oral and written English language skills
Knowledge of the airline industry both technical and commercial
French language skills are a plus

Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

The salary for this position will be in the mid- 40´s. Air France offers outstanding medical and dental as well as flight benefits.
