Lead Electrical Engineer Duties

Aurora Flight Sciences is a leader in unmanned aerial vehicle technology for research defense and homeland security organizations. For more than 17 years Aurora Flight Sciences has expanded the limits of unmanned flight through the design and manufacture of innovative aircraft. We are looking for a Lead Avionics Engineer for our Cambridge R-D Center.

Specific Responsibilities:
Leads all avionics and analog hardware efforts as well as all sensor R-D efforts. Will be the technical expert in digital electronics analog electronics and advanced sensors.

Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline. Higher degree (MS or PhD) preferred. 10+ years of technical experience including board design FPGA's and knowledge of C or C++. Strong presentation skills (verbal and written). Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. High level of computer proficiency. Ability to travel as required.
