Ticket Reader Duties

Position Overview:
Midwest Airlines is currently seeking qualified individuals to join us as part-time Ticket Readers at Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport location.

Please be prepared to complete an application that request 10-year work history 10-year address history a copy of your High School Diploma or GED and contact information for 2 professional references (non peers/family members). Doors will open promptly one half hour prior to the session start time for registration. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate late arrivals.

Ticket Readers
Ticket Readers ensure customers receive high quality and efficient customer service. Ticket Readers will work in a ticket reading/identification confirmation capacity to verify that all individuals entering the sterile area through the security checkpoint have a valid boarding pass.

The minimum qualifications include:
· 18 yrs. of age or older.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Must be able to see and read English print.
· Must have excellent conversation skills.
· Customer service experience or related airline experience.
· Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods of time.
· Successful completion on 10-year background investigation physical examination and drug test

Please note specific schedules details will be shared at this session. However all schedules feature the following:

· Average 13-16 hours per week
· Average shift length is 4-7 hours
· Most shifts include early morning late evening holiday or weekend hours

The starting salary is $8.03/hr. Scale maximum $8.24/hr.

Midwest has an excellent benefit package available to employees working a minimum 20 hour week. It includes medical dental vision 401k plan retirement plan and travel privileges. Part-time under 20 hour/wk employees do not receive benefits other than limited travel privileges.

Conscientiousness
Successful applicants must be conscientious about their schedule, paperwork, follow-up for customers, sales and inventory, reporting and completion of required reading. Your training requirements and FAA required manuals must be kept up-to-date. Reports about situation occurring on the job must be filed in a timely manner according to company guidelines.
