Requirements
I. Position Summary:
The Director oversees the maintenance operations of LiveTV including LiveTV installations, Line Maintenance Operations, and LiveTVs Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Repair Station operation. The Director also formulates and follows the maintenance budget along with daily interface with all areas of the Company (i.e. Maintenance Planning, Technical Standards, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Materiels) as it relates to LiveTV and its business objectives.
II. Essential Functions:
Directs the maintenance operations of LiveTV including LiveTV installations, Line Maintenance Operations, and LiveTVs LRU repair station operation
Formulates and follows the maintenance budget and ensures departmental budgetary accountabilities for the responsible departments
Develops long term business strategies for the operational group providing LiveTV competitive advantage
Manages goals, objectives, and accountabilities for Installations, Line Maintenance, Planning and Production, Component Shop, Stores, and the LRU Repair Station
Directs maintenance activities and staffing of LiveTV operations
Oversees the compliance and operational quality of LiveTV operations
III. Interactions:
Supervision Received:
Plans, designs, and carries out programs, projects, studies, or other work independently. Receives little or no supervision from Crewleader
Supervisory Duties:
Trains, assigns work to, and checks work of two (2) or more Crewmembers; participates in the decision to hire, fire, and promote Crewmembers; does not conduct the same work as Crewmembers on a regular basis

LTV-Manager, LRU Repair Station
LTV-Manager, West Coast Maintenance
LTV-Manager, East Coast Maintenance
LTV-Manager, Planning and Production
LTV-Manager, Technical Support
IV. Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Maintenance Management preferred but not required
Ten (10) years of airline and/or repair station experience
Four (4) years in a management role with two (2) years at a Director or above level
Management experience in Engineering, Procurement and Maintenance in a repair station environment preferred but not required
Management experience in Federal Aviation Regulations Part 121 and Part 145 Federal Aviation Regulations preferred but not required
Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft knowledge and experience preferred but not required
Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License
Regular attendance is required
Must be an appropriate fit for the LiveTV culture, that is, exhibit the LiveTV values of being Dynamic, Innovative, Passionate, and Responsible
Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
V. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer literate in Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Part 121 and Part 145 Federal Aviation Regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical abilities
Demonstrate leadership ability
VI. Working Conditions:
Equipment:
Computer and other office equipment
Work Environment:
Normal office environment, as well as hangar, and warehouse environment and outdoor activities which may present an elevated noise environment
Present for core business hours but a flexible schedule is required
Occasional travel required
Physical Effort:
Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently. (Sedentary)
